It is situated in a picturesque bay overlooking the mountain of Albania Roda is a small fishing village that has kept its Greek Character and offers a variety of shops bars and restaurants. Water sports and boat hire are available on the sea front, and for those who wish to view the locality at leisure there are a scooter, motorbike and bicycle hire companies. A short distance away are many resorts which offer water sports and scuba diving. Aqua land, near Corfu town is the largest water park in Europe and in nearby Acharavi there is a smaller Hydropolis.
